Cadillac Ranch

Here it is. 

I know everyone has been waiting for it, "Cadillac Ranch". Located just west of Amarillo, TX., it is one of the few interesting Route 66 icons to see in this area. Most things in Amarillo consist of wind, dust, cattle & cattle s**t. 

The Cadillacs range from 1949 to 1964 tracing their design changes through the years. Eccentric Amarillo millionaire Stanley Marsh III purchased the cars in 1974 from various dealers & junk yards, some running some not. He paid a average of $200 each.
