On March 18th 2013 we set out on a 5 month journey of a lifetime. We'll be heading west down famous Route 66 from St. Louis, MO to CA. We will travel thru OR, WA, ID,UT, WY, MT & SD. Visiting National Parks along the way. We will then travel home to Louisiana. This blog will document our day to day experiences & keep us in contact with family & friends. We encourage your comments & feedback to keep us company as we share our experiences on this great adventure.

Classic Route 66 Hotel Neon
Hi Everyone:
These pictures are some of the remaining hotels neon signs from the old hotels that are still open for business along Route 66 in Gallup NM.
Tomorrow we hit the road for the Petrified Forest area in Arizona.
What a great collection of signs, colors, and type styles from an era gone by. Keep up the daily posts, they get better every day!!
