Da Road Trip

On March 18th 2013 we set out on a 5 month journey of a lifetime. We'll be heading west down famous Route 66 from St. Louis, MO to CA. We will travel thru OR, WA, ID,UT, WY, MT & SD. Visiting National Parks along the way. We will then travel home to Louisiana. This blog will document our day to day experiences & keep us in contact with family & friends. Palo Duro Canyon

Hi Everyone:

Barb & I had a really great day today at Palo Duro Canyon State Park. This park is about 25 miles south of Amarillo, TX. It is said that this is the most scenic place in Texas. From all the places in Texas that I have seen, I would have to say that statement is true.

Tomorrow morning we hit the road for Albuquerque NM.
