Hi Everyone:
Yesterday we arrived at our present location in Red Bluff California. This small town is in Northern California. We will stay here throughout the Memorial Day weekend. Well wouldn't you know it, last night around 8:50 PM Barb & I noticed Da Coach shaking. Barb asked me what I was doing to shake it like that. We were both watching TV at the moment. The TV also lost network reception for a minute. There was a 5.7 magnitude earthquake and several after shocks with the epicenter about 60 miles to our east. Fortunately it didn't cause any major damage. We found out that this is one of the largest earthquakes that hit this area. Most of the really large ones do not occur in this area. We are now in an area with decent Internet coverage.
Saturday, May 18th was our first day in Yosemite. We explored Yosemite Valley all day. This National Park is beautiful in every area. On this day Barb & I hiked over seven miles. We visited several waterfalls and other really great areas. We visited Yosemite for three days. I will make separate posts for each day.
