Da Road Trip

On March 18th 2013 we set out on a 5 month journey of a lifetime. We'll be heading west down famous Route 66 from St. Louis, MO to CA. We will travel thru OR, WA, ID,UT, WY, MT & SD. Visiting National Parks along the way. We will then travel home to Louisiana. This blog will document our day to day experiences & keep us in contact with family & friends. Sunset Through The Trees

Hi Everyone:

After digging out the tires of the coach from several inches of ice & snow this morning, we were finally able to move on to our latest location. We are now in Carthage Mo. at the Red Barn RV Park, about ten miles east of Joplin. This is the sunset from that location. Tomorrow will resume our trek of Route 66.
